Biography
Julie Anne Hoy is an American biophysicist with a PhD in biophysics, an MS in physics, and BAs in both physics and humanities. Julie is a certified Myers Briggs Practitioner with over 20 years of personal type study. Her passion is to help others along the path to happiness and empowered potential by sharing what she has learned through keen observation, intuitive reflection, and scientific reasoning.
Julie has worked as a research scientist at Caltech, one of the top institutes in the world, and has been employed at other universities in the US and Canada. As a structural biologist she founded, organized, and managed core research facilities to assist in numerous biomedical research projects. She was the first female to graduate in physics at Wartburg College and she created the humanities major there to supplement her interest in science.
